    UPS Maintenance Bypass Switch UPS Even though uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are designed to condition and protect power to your load, they still require regular servicing and maintenance.

    Maintenance visits often require a shutdown of the UPS. If an external maintenance bypass switch (EMBS) is not part of the system this means shutting down the connected load. An external maintenance bypass switch (EMBS) allows the engineer to switch to direct mains if maintenance is needed or a problem occurs, then switch back to UPS when the problem is solved without any shutdown or down time to the connected load.

    Single Phase Input / Output Rackmounted Available in 6kva & 10kva ratings in a rack mount format.

    Single Phase Input / Output Available in 10kva, 15kva, 20kva ratings in a wall mounted format.

    Three Phase Input / Single Phase Output Available in 10kva, 15kva, 20kva ratings in a wall mounted format.

    Three Phase Input / Output Available in 10kva, 15kva, 20kva, 30kva, 40kva, 50kva, 60kva, 80kva, 100kva, 120kva, 140kva, 160kva, 200kva ratings in a wall mounted format.

    Manual Switch These are manually operated Bypass Switches without an electrical interlock.

    Manual Switch With Interlock Manual bypass switches can have an additional safety feature. By having the electrical interlock installed with the bypass switch it is impossible to bypass your UPS and pull direct from the mains without the service key being turned.

    Automatic Bypass Switches Automatic Bypass Switches monitor the UPS output and can switch to bypass automatically if there is a problem and the UPS needs maintenance. They can also be manually over ridden for scheduled maintenance.
