The latest addition to Riello UPS’s range of uninterruptible power supplies combines exceptional reliability and efficiency with a compact footprint.
Delivering unity power factor, Sentinel Tower is the ideal solution for protecting mission critical systems such as safety devices, telecommunications equipment but also IT systems to ensure maximum power reliability. Sentinel Tower is designed and built using state-of-the-art technology and components to provide maximum protection to the powered loads with no impact on downstream systems and optimised energy savings.
The series includes 5-6 kVA single/singlephase and 8-10 kVA single/three-phase input single-phase output models with on-line double conversion technology (VFI): the load is powered continuously by the inverter which supplies a sinusoidal voltage, filtered and stabilised in terms of form and frequency. Input and output filters provide significant further immunity from mains disturbances and lightning strikes.
In terms of technology and performance, Sentinel Tower is one of the best UPS available on the market today: three level inventer to achieve 95% efficiency, output power factor 1 to increase in efficiency of system and devices and reduce power system losses.
Selectable Economy Mode and Smart Active Mode functions; new custom diagnostics LCD display, RS232 and USB interfaces with Powershield3 software, ESD input, interface slot with optional boards.
The Sentinel Rack is a rack-mounted version of the popular Sentinel Pro range of online uninterruptible power supplies. Advanced double conversion technology provides the highest levels of reliability and protection for critical servers, data processing IT systems, and telecoms networks. Available in 1500 VA and 3000 VA versions, both products sit at just 380mm deep, making them the ideal choice to upgrade power in server rooms housing 600mm deep legacy racks.
For applications requiring several hours’ autonomy, the SER 3000 ER is fitted with a 6A battery charger and additional battery packs for extra runtime. These plug and play UPS systems are designed to fit standard 19 inch cabinet racks and incorporate a Cold Start feature that enables them to power up even if there isn’t a mains supply. Choose from a wide range of operating modes (i.e. Online, Eco, Smart Active, Standby Off, Frequency Converter) to boost performance and improve energy efficiency.
